Version 5.1.1766.4 broke my intellisense

I use visual studio intellisense and after upgrading to version 5.1.1766.4 my intellisense in many cases

is broken.  It appears to be not working for finding parameters for functions and constructors.

Rolling back to version 5.1.1753.4 corrects the problem

Two of us at my company are having this issue too. The "Parameter information" check box on the C#, General tab in Visual Studio options continuously gets unchecked while ReSharper is running. Please fix this problem!

I'm also experiencing this issue with the same version.

Just to add to the problem description...
"Parameter Information" is being unchecked (Text Editor -> C# only) whenever any file is openned.

Re-enabling this option only lasts until a file is openned from solution explorer, then Parameter Information is unchecked again.

I can confirm that both "Auto list members" and "Parameter information" in the "Statement completion" part of  Tools | Options | Text Editor | C# | General get unchecked when you open a file from the Solution Explorer.

However, I'm not sure this causes a problem. I believe the ReSharper Options | Environment | IntelliSense options override the Visual Studio Options.

Edit: When testing again later, I only see it happening for the Parameter Information.

Hi,

I have reproduced this behavior only with Parameter Info option. We will fix this in the next R# 5.x minor release. Meanwhile you can using following workarounds:

  • use R# Go To File feature to open files
  • switch to R# intellisense

Thanks for confirming the bug. Where can I get the previous version of R#?

I tried the following link, however, after install the software says the pre-release version has expired.

Hello Valamas,

I've added the correct link to ReSharper 5.1.1 at http://devnet.jetbrains.net/docs/DOC-280.
Could you please try again? Thank you!

Hi Andrey, Thanks, I managed to download it. While the display value of the link is correct, the HREF is a copy of the file above it. You should fix that.
