VS2010 info pop ups (info tips?) and resharper info popups

There are a couple of ways to control this.

There is 1 from R#:

Resharper->Options->Intellisense->General. (and other options under "Intellisense")

There is another way from VS2010:

Tools->Options->Text Editor->(Your Language or "All Languages")  -- You will see "Auto list members" & "Parameter Information" -- play around with these

did you have the powertoys installed? The popups looks like this.

it might be the powertoys (the colourful popups), but I like them a lot!

The greyish popup (which is in front) is not so nice and I want to lose that one ideally.

If I turn off all Resharper intellisense features then there is lots of good stuff I'm now missing.  I really just want to turn off that hover over info popup, not the intellisense features per se.

Oh, and I do have VS Powertoys.

The resharper (I assume) info popup appears over the VS2010 info popup
when i hover over a symbol when not debugging.

and with some mouse fiddling I can get to the VS2010 (?) info popup
below it:

is there any way to disable the resharper popup - I cant find one?
I'm still on v5.1.3000.12.

OR, is that popup actually from RS at all?

Yep. This is frustrating indeed and is caused by the interaction with Power Toys. This is by far the worst issue I've found with 6.
