Visual Studio 2010 extremely slow when saving

I just got Resharper and it totally destroyed my build times.  They went from about 1.5 minutes to anywhere from 10 - 20 minutes.  Sometimes it take a huge amount of time to rebuild after making a change to only one project.

So, how long does it take to save a file with ReSharper enabled? Could you
please also check if suspending ReSharper under Tools | Options | ReSharper
| General speeds up saving? Thank you!

I am a habitual saver, meaning I am always ctrl-s ing. My environment
is:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
6gb RAM
Intel Xeon W3520 @ 2.67GHz 2.67GHz
JetBrains ReSharper 6.0 C# Edition
Build 6.0.2202.688 on 2011-06-30T03:14:16
Visual Studio 10.0.30319.1.

I am also running VisualSVN v2.0.1

I have a coworker with the exact same computer system, windows
installation, etc, that I have, but he is not running ReSharper or
Visual SVN and he does not experience the slowness that I do.  I love
ReSharper, but I hate how slow it is getting.  I've tried multiple
solutions, as well as deleting all the _Resharper files etc and
nothing seems to help.  I've searched the net and tried numerous
things; so I decided it's probably time for me to post here.

If there are specific things I need to do in setting up my solutions
that ReSharper prefers, I'm willing to modify my stuff to make it work
better.

Please help!

I suspended Resharper and immediately saw a huge difference in saving.  Saving dropped to milliseconds as apposed to 2-3 seconds otherwise.

I Resumed Resharper and the first 2 or 3 saves were fairly quick, then they got slow again.

Thank you for your response.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
