Can't install Resharper 7 on Windows 8 x64 RTM / VS2012 RTM
Hi,
When I try to install the latest MSI off the jetbrains.com site, I get
"This installation package cannot be opened. Verify the package exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor to verify this is a valid Windows installer package"
I've tried running it in compatability mode and also tried repairing the MSI but no problems were found.
Any ideas what could be wrong? I'm running it within a VMWare Fusion VM if that makes any difference

This error message usually indicates that the .msi file hasn't been downloaded completely. Could you please tell me the exact size of the .msi file that you have downloaded?

File Size is 45,506,560. Tried redownloading it on multiple systems, still not working
OK, found the cause. It was because I was running it from a folder with an apostrophe in the name "c:\Users\James '\Downloads". Moved it to another folder and it worked
