Hello,
It holds the actual executable files of the products.

Hello,
how can I change this folder location to move files into another drive?
Please, answer, is it possible to delete or to move this folder? It eats much space on my system drive.
"%LocalAppData%\JetBrains\Installations" folder contains all ReSharper binaries, so if you remove that ReSharper won't work at all.
How to set Resharper store files in another folder, not in %LocalAppData%\JetBrains. It consumes 5GB what is very high for small system SSD, I constantly get out of space. I'd like to move this folder with content to another drive.
@Sergey, no way to change that folder (https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSRP-428954).
Thanks!
Just move this folder to another drive and set up a directory junction to it from the old path.
It is taking 1.8gb for every user folder under users where i have 20 folders which includes 3 actual user folders and rest of them are IIS app pools and sql server accounts. please advice I am deleting this installation folder from all other folders except actual user folders. Is this ok?
I have 2 folders with similar files:
\AppData\Local\JetBrains\Installations\ReSharperPlatformVs14
\AppData\Local\JetBrains\Installations\ReSharperPlatformVs14_001
Is it possible to remove one of them? It tooks much space
One of them were in use by a running Visual Studio when you were installing the latest ReSharper, so it had to create a new one side-by-side. The older should be removed when you install a new version or do a repair. You can delete whichever one is older.
@Serge, ok, thanks
why is it installed in AppData by default? is there any serious reasons to choose this folder?
Hello a-man!
Thank you for contacting us.
This is the recommended way of installation because it does not require administrative permissions, it allows automatic updates, etc.
However there's option to install ReSharper in All users mode, please refer to the following help article - https://www.jetbrains.com/help/resharper/Installation_Guide.html#admin
Thank you.
Excellent thanks Serge, I will use a junction point. :)
