RS9 locks vstudio sometimes when pressing e.g. Esc when closing windows

Several times today RS have been locking vstudio and I have to kill it due to it uses some modal dialog that won't disappear. It seems to happen now and then when a window is loading and I want to abort operation (chose incorrect command) by clicking Esc, then RS does not seem to handle it gracefully and vstudio UI is locked.

Here I for some reason opened ".NET Tools Extensions" when really wanting opening options so I hit Esc before window was completed loading, and I get some weird "Close?" dialog every time I try to Close it via "Close" button. Need to kill vstudio process again.

(Also settings does not seem to be migraded properly from RS 7.1, a lot of stuff needs to be re-set)

Here it closes if you answer "Yes" in ALL the "Close?" dialogs. Weird that
there'd be more than one at all, that's true.

(Also settings does not seem to be migraded properly from RS 7.1, a
lot of stuff needs to be re-set)


We tried to provide auto-upgrade for most of the settings. Which ones are
not migrating correctly?
