Command Line Tools clarification

Hi,
I just wanted to clarify the nature of ReShaper command line tools, as I understand they are standalone tool and not a wrapper over some other product ... and the license is a custom license that is defined in the linked webpage, is this correct? So it's a free tool one can add to their build process even into a commercial product without any consequences?
Thank you!

Hi Jiri,

ReSharper Command Line Tools don't wrap other products, it's a set of free tools that execute ReSharper's code inspections outside Visual Studio, or help finding dupicated code. The license for ReSharper CLT is available here: https://www.jetbrains.com/resharper/buy/command_line_license.html and according to the License p.4 (b) Licensee may not: (i) sell, redistribute, encumber, give, lend, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise transfer Software, or any portions of Software, to anyone without the prior written consent of Licensor;

So basically adding it to a commercial product is restricted.

Thank you.
Can you please clarify the licence part - is it allow without any consequences to use this as a part of *build* process (specifically to collect the inspection and send it to SonarQube), while the CLT would *not* be included in/with the product itself? The sentence you referenced does not seem to apply in this case - which I assume to be a very frequent use case, is this correct?

Yes, it's a scenario that is allowed by License Agreement.
