disconnected from license server

In the past, my former company has always purchased licenses to be installed on my machine directly.  Now I'm
with a company that uses the license server.  The beauty of the individual license was that I didn't have to be always connected to the license server when i was working from home and still be able to use resharper.

Now, however, if i'm not connected to the license server, ReSharper is disabled.  Could you add in a feature to the local install, that would allow you to be disconnected from the license server for a limited number of days before requireing a check on the license?  I'd like to be able to work for a few days (over the weekend) without having to vpn in to the network where our license server is kept.

Thanks!

Hello,

ReSharper should work fine for 48 hours since the last succesful connection to the Lciense Server.
Also, you may turn on 'Permanent Tickets' in the License Server web UI and use 'ReSharper | Help | Abtain Permanent License' while connected to the LS. In this case, you will be able to use ReSharper as if you'd have a standalone license.

Hope this helps.
Thanks!

I am trying to better understand the 48-hour timeout period, when a user successfully receives a license from the license server and then disconnects for offline use.

In the JB License Server "Settings" tab, the Ticket Revocation Period (s): is defaulted to 600. I am assuming that is seconds? If that is the case it is a 10 minutes for the revocation period.

In order to achieve the 48-hour revocation period, would I need to set this to 172,800 seconds (which is 48 hours)?

I have looked in the user guide and searched online but cannot find a definitive answer... just that it *should* work. Is this a setting or is it baked into the licensing server (the 48-hour window).

Thanks!
