resharper keyboard shortcuts missing

I had a very similar problem, but it was on a machine that had resharper
already. To fix it, I uninstalled resharper, deleted the Resharper settings

I installed resharper# 79 on a new machine and forgot to save the keyboard

scheme before installing. There were no error messages, but the resharper
keyboard shortcuts where not applied when I opened VS.Net. I was
unsuccessful in getting the resharper keyboard shortcuts into VS.Net now. I
attempted the following:

1. Saved the keyboard shema and restarted VS.Net. Still did not work.
2. Ran the resharper installation again (repair existing installation).

Still no shortcuts.

3. Uninstalled resharper and installed it again from scratch. Still no

shortcuts.

Pal, Hisham,

this is a known problem that appeared as a result of our effort to
avoid overwriting user shortcuts. It has a simpler remedy than that you've
used :
just delete a line
1.0.x.y in the UserSettings.xml file, and shortctus will be set again on the next startup. See also thread 'No shortcuts available' in the newsgroup. "Hisham Baz" ]]> wrote in message

It should be somewhere like "Documents and Settings\<user-name>\Application
Data\JetBrains\ReSharper\UserSettings.xml"
