File Structure gone - VS2005, Resharper 203

I really like the new dockable File Structure window, especially the up and down arrows that allow me to keep my code neat. Has it been removed from 203? Actually, under Resharper|Windows, I can't get any of the windows to appear any more (Unit Test Runner, etc.).

No, it wasn't removed.
This is a bug, and we will try to fix it

Hello Patrick,

in VS 2003 there is a known problem that enabling 'Auto Hide' option for
ReSharper tool windows may
cause their disappearance without an evident ability to get them back. Not
sure if this is the case
for VS 2005, but I think it is quite possible. So if you enabled that option,
you may have troubles
getting ReSharper tool windows to appear. Workaround is to reinstall ReSharper.

The problem with auto-hide windows may be handled by docking another tool
window nearby, setting it to auto-hide, letting it hide, then showing it and
pin.

Regarding the auto-hide option in VS2005 - I can't test that because it's impossible to open any of the windows shown under the Resharper|Windows menu, the choices are all greyed out once Resharper has finished loading. Note I'm using Resharper 204 now, same issue. I'd like to be clear on whether it's a bug/temporarily missing feature affecting 203 and 204, or whether I should be able to open these windows - I'm really eager to use these features again! Thanks

Hello Patrick,

of course, ReSharper | Windows menu items should be available as soon as
ReSharper
is enabled. Most likely, something has been broken in VS menu structure.
Please try
to disable ReSharper, reset your settings (Tools|Import and Export Settings|Reset...),
then restart VS and enable ReSharper. Please inform us if this helps.

Thanks in advance.

It's back - wonderful! And Resharper starts itself now, too (it previously did not start itself, even with the option selected under Add-In Manager, until I performed some sort of operation requiring Resharper, such as typing a '.' or trying to open the File Structure window). Thanks

Well I spoke too soon. Visual Studio seems to lose my settings between sessions, so I have to perform your suggestion over and over again to keep Resharper working properly. I'm going to try the "export settings" option now. (I'm not entirely clear about the import/export settings function in VS, partly because VS never remembers where I tell it to put the file.)

Hello Patrick,

I have no idea why this happens. May be this is a bug in VS 2005.
Also make sure that your settings are not being overwritten by
another concurrently running instance of VS.

It's probably VS2005's fault. Resharper v2 works fine in VS2003 - if that means anything.
