Slow VS.NET startup with ReSharper for VS2003 build 205

(I thought I read a similar thread before, but I can't find it. Sorry if
this is a dupe.)

A warm VS.NET 2003 start takes 30 seconds to start up on my Athlon 64 3200+
with 1GB of RAM. This behavior is new in the last build or two. Without
ReSharper it takes 1/2 second.

Is this a known issue? If so, is there anything I can do to fix it in the
short term? If not, is there anything I can send you to help diagnose the
problem?

Thanks,
Jeff

Hello Jeff,

what do you mean under 'warm start'? Do you include opening a solution in
this time?

Thanks.

Hi Dmitry,

I lanuch VS.NET, close it, then re-launch it. "Warm" meaning that much of
what's loaded is already cached by the OS, so the long load time isn't due
to a slow or fragmented hard disk. It takes 30+ seconds each time I launch
it, whether it's "cold" or "warm". I'm not loading a solution. It takes that
long just to get to the Start Page. FYI: The CPU is pegged at 100% during
this time.

Thanks,
Jeff

I am seeing the same issues here... P4 3.2, 1GB RAM and a WD Raptor drive...
