Problems working with aspx.cs

Just created new page, opened codebehind file. - No ReSharper support what
so ever.
What could be wrong? In old pages ReSharper seem to work.
Thank you,
Shimon.

Hello Shimon,

does the problem happens if you try to add a new file once again?
What kind of project you're working on? If you create a fresh ASP.NET
project, do you see this issue? Also, are you able to see
the newly created files in Goto File and how are they displayed there?

Thanks.

Hello Shimon,

Yes, It happens everytime I add new page to the project. All new pages don't
have any ReSharper support and don't have VS InteliSence support

What kind of project you're working on?

I am woking on ASP.NET project.

If you create a fresh ASP.NET
project, do you see this issue?

Yes, I just tried to create new project and the WebPage1.aspx.cs - the file
that comes with solution has support of ResSharper but if I add new a web
Page the new page doesn't have any ReSharper support. I just checked and
same applies to any class - if I add a class file it doesn't have any
RESharper support eather.

Also, are you able to see
the newly created files in Goto File and how are they displayed there?

NO. New files don't appear in this list.
Thank you for you hepl. The tool is good this thing does slow me a lot.

Hello Shimon,

most likely this is a problem with your VS.NET 2003 installation. The scenario
is as follows:
when you add a file to your project, ReSharper receives a notification that
is fired by VS COM objects.
If a COM library containing those objects got unregistered somehow (e.g.
during an uninstallation of a VS
extension), then the events don't get fired, and ReShaper is unaware of newly
added files. So
recommended solution is to repair your VS.NET. By the way, does the same
problem happen with
regular (non-ASP) VS projects like C# Console App?

Well. What I just did was as follows.
1. After I posted the issue yesterday I got really annoyed by the problem
since is slowed me down beyond my passion could handle - I rolled back to
165 build. It that build worked just fine.
2. After I read your message I uninstalled 165 and installed 209. The same
problem with ASP.NET project.
3. Created new Class library project. - Add new file -everything works just
fine.
I am trying to reinstall the VS just to make sure that this is not an issue.
I'll let you know some time later.

Yes,
this is correct. And all my effort to fix this problem didn't lead anywhere.
I just started working with EAP so I have no idea if this is problem just
with this build of also with previous builds on my machine.
Thank you,

Hello Shimon,

could you please check if this problem happens on other machines in your
neighborhood? And another moment: what is the location of your ASP.NET projects
-
is it a local path or an HTTP?

Thanks.

Yes,
this is correct. And all my effort to fix this problem didn't lead
anywhere.
I just started working with EAP so I have no idea if this is problem
just
with this build of also with previous builds on my machine.
Thank you,
Shimon

I suspect that there may be a problem in how ReSharper
handles files which are identified by an HTTP path. This should not happen
if the location of a web project is identified by a local path. I'll check
it ASAP.

I've checked the problem with VS 2003 and ReSharper build 210,
and still no luck - adding new files works just fine. May be it would
be reasonable to wait for the next build, since there were some changes
that may be relevant to this issue, and continue investigating the problem
if it still happens for you with 210.
