Current Line
Hello,
I am having a problem with the color settings for the current line. If the text background color is black, I get the problem that is shown in the attached image. However, if the background for the text is white then the current line draws correctly. Any ideas?

Hello Michael,
what version of VS you're using? Currently there is a problem with current
line color not updating correctly when you
change the background of the 'Plain Text' in Fonts and Colors - VS restart
is required for ReSharper to recognize the change.
Isn't it your situation?

Hello Dmitry,
Wow - I didn't realise that it worked at all in 2003 - a bit annoying that one has to restart to try different colours - but at least it works!
Where does the foreground colour get used?
Also - I have a different BG col on comments which stops it working (only the tabs before the comment show in the current line highlight col) - see attachment

Hello Ronnie,
the problem with having to restart VS in order to update the current line
color is known,
we're going to fix it soon by simply polling for the 'Plain Text' background
color. Unfortunately,
a more straightforward solution seems to be infeasible, because of some inconsistencies
in the Fonts
and Colors API of VS.
If you mean the foreground colors of 'ReSharper Current Line' display item,
it is not used at all. As for
the problem with custom comments background hiding the current line, this
is currently an expected behavior,
as only the background color of the 'Plain Text' gets overwritten by the
current line color.

Hello Dmitry,
Is this a permanent feature?
Hello Ronnie,
could you please post a request to the tracker for it? It seems that in the
view of your post
we should reconsider a bit how current line highlighting works.

Hello Dmitry,
Done - 18245
BUT!
in 218 (2003) I got the colour changed by restarting VS - now (219) it doesn't!!!
Back to a permanently white line and no nice anti-aliasing :(

Hello Dmitry,
Yes - changing this has no effect.
It did in 218(2003) but only after a VS restart.
Have tried all sorts of combinations of turning current line off/on, changing
colour and restarts.
