Have you tried deleting all the resharper cashes (delete all the
"_Resharper*" folders) and trying to load the solution again?

Hi

I was typing something as simple as a private field or a property, simple
code. The editor would lockup (the wait cursor, couldn't type) - after
probably 30 seconds Visual Studio would quit with a fatal error. No
Resharper exception dialog was shown before Visual Studio quit.

With this solution with build 225 Visual Studio disappeared (crashed no
exceptions of any kind) twice whilst trying to load the solution -
Resharper was reading the assemblies / references. I work with several
different solutions in one day though this particular solution seems to
cause Resharper the most grief.

Hi Dmitry

On build 227 I'm still getting a lot of ReSharper exceptions thrown but the
IDE appears much more stable (I can write more than a few lines of code
without crashes).

Kind Regards

Duncan

Hello Duncan,

>

it would help us a lot if you attach a debugger do the devenv.exe with
ReSharper before opening
the problematic solution. Set break on any exception, and try to open
solution. Debugger should break
in a place where the fatal exception occurs (please take into account that
it will also break on non-fatal
exceptions that can be skipped safely).
