[227] Issues with Zero Impact Projects in Visual Studio 2005
Zero Impact Projects: solutions that are not saved (temporary projects). To
enable them in VS2K5. Tools -> Options -> Projects and Solutions -> Uncheck
Save New projects when created
When creating zero impact projects in Visual Studio 2005 the performance of
VS2K5 in combination with ReSharper really downgrades. Creating a new
projects takes like 2 minutes. And closing the zero impact solution without
saving it thus discarding causes ReSharper the display the following
messageboxes:
-
ReSharper
-
Could not delete project settings file.Could not find a part of the path
'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application
Data\Temporary Projects\ClassLibrary1\ClassLibrary1.csproj.resharper'.
-
OK

ReSharper

Could not save solution settings.Could not find a part of the path
'C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application
Data\Temporary Projects\ClassLibrary1\ClassLibrary1.resharper.user'.

and sometimes but not always ReSharper throws exceptions. This is not
something I was able to reproduce but the messageboxes is reproducable
everytime.
