[240] Errors when editing SQL, SSIS and SSAS

Hi,

I'm experiencing VS2005 crashes while editing SSIS, SSAS and SQL stored
procedures until I disable R# with from the add-in menu, do you test
these kind of projects as well?

Thx,

Wiebe Tijsma

Hello Wiebe,

we've tested ReSharper with SQL stored procedures but (to the moment) no
with SSIS and SSAS files.
Could you please

1) Describe us what project type do we need to look at (and where to download
the
respective SDK, if any) in order to check how ReSharper works with SSIS and
SSAS files?

2) Tell us how to repeat the problem with SQL stored procedures and IDs of
exceptions you're experiencing?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Dmitry,

What could be of influence is that we're using VSTS2005 (VS Team System)
as well (?)

SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSAS (SQL Server Analysis
Services) are part of the SQL Server 2005 business intelligence
development studio, which is practically one big plug-in for VS2005
included with SQL Server 2005 (not the express edition).

http://www.microsoft.com/sql/

When you install this application you get a new category 'Business
Intelligence Projects' with SQL Server related project types (Analysis
Services, Integration Services, Report Model, Import Services, etc)

The crash only occured when trying to edit a stored procedure (from the
Server explorer panel) while having an SSIS project open. As soon as I
start typing, VS2005 hangs, and crashes 10 secs later showing the
infamous 'restart IDE checkbox form'. When disabling R# (or not having
an ) the error doesn't occur.

I tried debugging VS2005, but this gives another exception, no stack
trace, no debug information.

Best regards,
