Expression formatting

Hello,

I have a suggestion about the reformat feature of R#.

I have a long lines of code:

MessageBox.Show(string.Format("Cannot reset vcc, error reading vcc id, result: '' error: ", result, error)); result = someVeryLongVariable.VeryLongMethod(veryLongParameter1, veryLongParameter2); After reformat it looks like this: MessageBox.Show( string.Format("Cannot reset vcc, error reading vcc id, result: '' error: ", result, error)); result = someVeryLongVariable.VeryLongMethod(veryLongParameter1, veryLongParameter2); I would prefer following formatting after reformat: MessageBox.Show(string.Format("Cannot reset vcc, error reading vcc id, result: '' error: ",

result, error));

result = someVeryLongVariable.VeryLongMethod(veryLongParameter1,

veryLongParameter2);

I expect the differece is in the order of applying the formating rules on subexpession. You use outside-in I would like inside-out. Is there any possibility to set the formating to work my way?

Thanks for response.

Hanzi

I agree. I hate having expressions broken at the equal sign, and wish I
could turn that off or otherwise prevent it from happening.

Please, Jetbrains, give us an option to make it NEVER break at an equal
sign! And probably after an open paren too. I never do either.
