Web Site and Silent Crash Follow
Hello,
Whoever experiences silent VS disappearing when opening certain web site
projects with ReSharper, next nightly build should contain a fix, so you
can try to install it.
Tell us, if it helps or not. Thanks.
Also, if it doesn't help, as a temporary workaround try removing GUID-like
keys from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\Extenders,
where subkeys has ReSharper word in them. If this doesn't help, tell us.

Do you mean Build #749? On http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/ReSharper/ReSharper4.0Nightly+Builds, it is listed as "broken". I guess this means we are not supposed to install it.
Hello Urs,
For some reason nightly build was not published today. We will check it today,
of course.
Did the workaround with removing registry key helped with "silent crash"?

Hello Ilya,
Build #750 works great so far. Didn't have any silent exits yet. Thanks for the great job :)
Urs
ilya, the registery hack fixed it for me.
So should I download 750 and undo the registry hack?
Is the build #750 the one labeled: "Experimental installer, build throws tons of exceptions"
I am better staying with 748 and the reg hack?
Hello Jobol,
Yes, please, download the latest nightly and try it. During installation
it should create Extenders entries in the registry, but still you'd better
check they are in place. Thanks!

Hello.
I've installed build 751 and i've check the registry for those entries. I'm not seeing them but I still can't open a solution with VS without getting a silent crash. The only way I've managed to open it is to delete all the assemblies from the bin folder of the site...
