R# 4.0.804.16: Code is unreadable in highlighted line

Hello
 
I remember that we had something similar with the earlier versions of R# in Visual Studio 2005. Today I wanted to change the colour for the highlighted line to dark green and this is the result:
 
 
Is this a known issue?

I have noticed that when I disable Font Smoothing (ClearType) that this issue does not happen:
 
 
I am also running this in VMware Workstation 6 so maybe this only happens when Font Smoothing is enabled in a VM? Unfortunately I am not running Visual Studio in a non-virtualized environment so I cannot give this a try. Can someone else reproduce this?

Hello,

Yes, this is how Highlight Current Line works in case font smoothing is on
and the line highlighting color is hi-contrast against the normal background.

In the current VS text editor architecture, I doubt we'll be able to improve
the situation considerably.
