I have noticed that for the last few builds, including the RC, the installation breaks the AnhkSVN plug-in for Visual STudion 2005 and I have to run a repair on Ankh to get it working again.

Cannot confirm. Installed Ankhsvn on a clean VS8, installed R#, checked, upgraded R# — both plugins running OK.
I have noticed a different issue with R# 4 and AnkhSVN during rename operations. When I rename a class the .cs file will also get renamed, Visual Studio then says that the file has been modified outside the editor and asks me if I want to reload it. When you reload you will notice that the file name has changed but the name of the class is reverted back to its original name.

If the plugin API for Resharper 4 were documented and published (completely) I would write us all a SVN plugin built on TortoiseSVN.
