R# not recognizing web controls when tag is defined in web.config

Instead of registering controls in easch asp.net page, I have registered
them in ]]> .....

R# 4.1.933.3 no longer recognizes any tags or references to telerik -
neither in the code nor the markup.

If I remove the reference from web.config and put the registration back into
each individual page R# behaves OK again.

I moved all the references to web.config today because I upgraded to the
latest version of Telerik and found myself touching each file to change the
references.

Is this a known issue?

Thanks
Jeremy

Jeremy,

that's dead strange. Could you create a complete sample for us, pls?

Sergey,

I closed down VS 2008 and then opened it again. The behaviour I was
complaining about disappeared! Further, every time I now open the project I
no longer have this issue.

Thinking about it, the problem only arose during the session when I was
writing the references to web.config and removing the registrations from the
individual pages. I guess R# just got confused!

Anyway, now that I know that it just needs a reload of VS it doesn't seem to
be an issue any more :)

However, I also have a very similar issue when I use UserControls with
public properties. Around half the time I open the project R# complains that
it can't pick up the public properties when the usercontrol is referred to
from the page. If I close VS 2008 and then load it again the problem tends
to go away. Its impossible to reproduce. While writing this post I've opened
the project 10 times and not once has it happened. I'll bet you the moment I
press the Send button I'll get this behaviour the next time I open the
project!!

Regards
Jeremy
