Feature Request: File Structure Window

Right now you can right click on anything in the File Structure window and
get a handy list that allows you to, among other things, "go to definition".

Would it be possible to add the feature that double-clicking on a method
name in here would just automatically go to the method in the source? This
would make the behavior consistent with solution explorer, among other
things. I find myself constantly double-clicking, only to have to then stop
and right-click and select "go to definition".

Thanks!

Hello Paul,

It looks like a bug, because it is exactly what happens to me when I dobule
click File Structure - appropriate member is opened and focused in editor.
Could you explain how do you use File Structure? I have it docked as a toolwindow
exactly at the same slot as Solution Explorer.

Sincerely,

I've seen at least one other report here of someone having the same issue.

I have the File Structure window docked on the right side (Solution explorer
is on the left), just above the docked properties window.

I've stopped and restarted, and tested in any number of projects and
solutions, and it's always the same... double-clicking does nothing. But I
can right-click and go-to-declaration and that works just fine. But I keep
double-clicking out of habit :)
