Is the 2010 EAP dead?
There hasn't been a build of ReSharper for VS2010 since 19th July, and today I got the following message from it:
"This pre-release build of JetBrains ReSharper DevTen Preview has expired.
Please update to a newer version:
http://www.jetbrains.com/resharper/download/index.html"
Unfortunately the link doesn't point to a version that can run in VS2010...
So, is the EAP officially dead now, or is it just me getting that error message?
Cheers,
Geoff

I haven't tested it, but this page:
http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/ReSharper/ReSharperforVisualStudio2010+%28Preview%29
shows a license key that expires on September 22.

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be a license expiration issue - I've had those before, and they display a different dialog. I think the expiration is hard-coded into the binary.
It makes sense that JetBrains wouldn't want ropey EAPs running forever, so expiring them is probably a good idea, and a 50-day expiration is plenty of time for developers to install a newer version. Unfortunately there's nothing to replace the expired build.
Cheers,
Geoff
New build is published.
Nothing new in this build, just expiration date is shifted
Thanks!
Geoff
