EAP 5 license key

"VS2010Beta1" still works in beta 2, but that expires tomorrow.

Also, any estimate on when we'll have to pay for an upgrade?

Thanks!

Hello Alex
ReSharper 5 EAP builds have an evaluation period built-in. This period is extended periodically with new nightly builds, so you'll be able to use ReSharper 5 until EAP ends as long as you have the latest nightly build installed. As to ReSharper 5 release (and the moment when upgrades will be available), I'm afraid we cannot provide an exact estimate at the moment.

Hello,

"VS2010Beta1" still works in beta 2,

This is strange, regarding all of the Visual Studio API changes in between
Beta 1 and Beta 2.

but that expires tomorrow.

Recent nightly builds of the ReSharper 5 Early Access Program now support
VS 2010 Beta 2. You're welcome to try them at http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/ReSharper/ReSharper5.0Nightly+Builds.

Heh, exact estimate is kinda oxymoron...

Anyway, pls update current license (I don't think it's posted anywhere right now) so we don't end up w/o R# over the weekend

Thank you

Sorry I wasn't clear.

When I said "'VS2010Beta1' still works in beta 2" I meant the username/license key combo (VS2010Beta1/0-ZKrXLitn++fWLy3G4xP9hihDauglqL4I) given us on old R# for 2010 build page. It's not there anymore. New build didn't ask me for license key and neither did R# in VS2010 beta 2 once it started and when I look in License Information, I see the old license key from beta 1. It expires tomorrow. Which worries me greatly

Thanks

Hello,

when I look in License Information I see the old license key from beta
1. It expires tomorrow. Which worries me greatly

As it expires, ReSharper will switch to the Free Evaluation mode, which will
be available throughout all of the v5 EAP.

Hello Serge,

I wonder how it happened, do we transfer license to upper version? That seems
a bit strange. Also, if there is expired license, evaluation won't start,
AFAIK. We'll check on monday.

Guess what, it didn't start. Now what do we do??

0

Hmm. I simply switched from user name "VS2010Beta1" to free evaluation option and that started it with 30 days left.

Nevermind, I guess, false alarm. How will it react in 30 days though?

Newer nightly builds will have their own fresh new thirty days.
