How to use the PowerToys
Hi there!
I never used the R# PowerToys.
I always download its zip file and move it to the R installation dir, but I do not even know what is in it or how to use it.
Could somebody give some pointers?
Thanks,
Eduardo Quintana

Hello Eduardo,
The files in the archive with "Setup" in name should be a good pointer.
But use the right Version for the right Visual Studio Version
V8.0 = 2005
V9.0 = 2008
V10.0 = 2010

Albert
Eduardo,
The Zip contains MSI for the different PowerToys and one that contains them all (ReSharper PowerToys Pack Setup.msi). Just install it and it will place them under the Plugins folder. They are all plugins. If you want to install them manually, just unzip source ,build and place under same folder. They should appear as new option under Power Toys and also under ReSharper plugins.
If you have any issues, let me know.
Thanks

Hello,
In the first place, they're sample plugins for those who'd like to write
a plugin for ReSharper. They're published on a daily basis (or, rather, a
nightly:) to keep up with non-yet-frozen v5 API.
Besides being samples, these plugins add a couple useful features to ReSharper
— for example, decompiling source code with Reflector when navigating to
classes from DLLs.

Thanks Serge,
I will install them all and see how they work.
