Unit Test Sessions pane opening up every time ReSharper starts

Hi,

I have noticed this (non-critical annoyance), when opening Visual Studio. Each time ReSharper is activated, the Unit Test Session pane is opened. I don't know if it's something local to my setup, but you can recreate the scenario by suspending/resuming ReSharper.

Is it something that can be "turned off" somewhere? :)

Hi Kenneth,

Actually, these windows (as well as their layout) are managed by Visual Studio.
However, could you try to close this window with only single Visual Studio
instance opened:
- Open a single Visual Studio instance, create/load any solution.
- Close the Unit Test Session window with a "Close" button.
- Press "Save all" button within the solution.
- Gently close the Visual Studio.
- Open up a single Visual Studio instance once again.

Thank you.

Filed this in YouTrack a long time ago - got nowhere with it: http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/RSRP-210578

According to the existing issue, I guess no one can or will do anything about it. It's not a major issue, just a minor annoyance...

This could possibly be due to saved unit test runner sessions being restored
on startup.

If you close all of the unit test sessions (not the tool window, but the
session tabs inside it) before shutting down Visual Studio, does it prevent
the pane from opening on startup?

Sergei, that did it for me - thank you. Once I closed all the Sessions inside the window it disappeared. I closed VS2010 and it didn't appear when I started up VS.
