The original C++ EAP I was using expired a few days ago and it looks like the newer versions no longer support VS2008. Is there any hope or is it the end of the road?

Hello John,
ReSharper 9 and other .NET tools will not support Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 - http://blog.jetbrains.com/dotnet/2014/11/20/resharper-and-visual-studio-where-do-we-stand/.
Thanks!
