cannot hook up with VS events

Hello Joey,

the simplest way, although a time consuming one, it to indeed repair your
VS. The problem is that
some VS COM servers got unregistered probably because of a faulty uninstallation
of a VS extension.

i am currently getting this error with Resharper:

Resharper has failed to connect to VS.NET projects events. Resharper
will be unable to keep track of changes you make in your solution and
projects. To fix this problem, please repair your VS.NET
installation.

i don't think my VS needs repairing, what needs to be fixed here?
