Found error in scanning of asp files

Hi,

I was wondering why some of my aspx pages gave the Resharper error "cannot
resolve symbol" and others didn't. And it came down to this simple example
that shows it on my system.

This HTML code works, so I in the code behind file can reference TextBox1
and TextBox2:

<asp:TextBox id="TextBox1" runat="server" Style="z-index: 101; position:
relative;"></asp:TextBox>
<asp:TextBox id="TextBox2" runat="server" Style="z-index: 102; position:
relative;"></asp:TextBox>

public partial class Artikelsearch : UserControl
{
protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
TextBox1.Text = "test";
TextBox2.Text = "test";
}
}

This HTML code does not allow resharper to see the TextBox2 in the code
behind file. The only change is a newline in the first tag.

<asp:TextBox id="TextBox1" runat="server" Style="z-index: 101;
position: relative;"></asp:TextBox>
<asp:TextBox id="TextBox2" runat="server" Style="z-index: 102; position:
relative;"></asp:TextBox>

Hopes this helps to narrow down the problem with "cannot resolve symbol"
error in web solutions.

/peter

Hi,

Okay it is not easy to see when this message has automatic linebreaks, but
what I was showing was that when the two TextBox tags was on two hole lines,
there is no problem. When there is a linebreak just before the 'relative'
word in the TextBox1 style, it failed.

<asp:TextBox ...relative;"></asp:TextBox>

<asp:TextBox ...
relative;"></asp:TextBox>
