This issue is marked as 'cannot reproduce' but there are a few people getting this issue. The problem is that it's fatal to Visual Studio. Can you have another look?
it's not a problem to re-open an issue but unfortunately simply re-opening will hardly get us anywhere closer toward fixing it. Do you know how to repeat this issue consistently?
when it happens in a particular file it is repeatable. Next time it happens I will see what I can do towards sending you something, but that might mean sending all of our source code.
Alternatively a crash dump might help - if I can work out how to get one before VS exits?

Yes, when I have had this problem in CTRL-ALT-F, it crashes VS. If I restart VS then try to reformat the same file it crashes again, and again, etc. However the same file won't necessarily crash the next day, perhaps after a reboot or some modification to the file.

Hello Philip,
do you mean that the problem happens always with a certain file (s)?
