remove redundant using directives problem

Hi,

The tool that removes redundant using directives got a problem so it removes "using" to dlls (project reference) that contains ADO.net types datasets, even thoug the class does uses classes from that dlls. It causes my code not to compile because of that problem, and I have to go back and fix all the compilation error. too bad...

Hello Oren,

ReSharper doesn't optimize project references. Could you please tell us more
about the problem? May be you are using different plugin which does that?

Hi,

Im sorry. I problem describtion was indeed not clear enough.
I will try to rephrase my problem:

I have a vs2005 solution with many projects (one exe and the rest are dll's).
All are written in C#.
some of the projects contains only typed datasets.
The other projects are referencing these projects in order to use the types datasets classes.
In order to use those types datasets classes each class needs ofcourse to put a "using" statement to namespace of the project that contains the types datasets dlls.
I used the "remove redundant using" feature of Reshaper and it works fine, except that problem that it always recognize "usings" statements to those types datasets projects as redundant when they are not.
So I had to fix houndreds of compile errors because of that problem..

Oren.
