Features sorely missing from Resharper

Folks,

Faced with my company's decision to go with Resharper, but being a CodeRush guy myself, I'm sorely lacking some of the more powerful CR features in Resharper - any hope you'll add some of those in the near future (e.g. in v3) ??

What I miss the most is the "structural highlighting", which makes longer and more elaborate code blocks (yes, we still have those at times!) just SOOO much easier to understand

I really like the ability to expand a selection the word, line, paragraph, method level (and back, if needed) easily, with the keyboard. Also the "Selection embedding" is extremely useful

Plus, I really don't like the lightbulb going up at the very far left beginning of the line when I'm way in the middle of the line - it's just way too long a way with the mouse to go poke it. I think in many cases, a context-sensitive option right where my mouse cursor / caret is (a bit like the Office 2007 smart popups) would be extremely helpful.

Cheers!
Marc

Hello,

Structural highlighting will be considered for next version, after 3.0.

"Expand selection" was always in ReSharper, default shortcut is Ctrl-W (and Ctrl-Shift-W to go back one level).

As for lightbulb, Alt-Enter is handy shortcut to open it, then use arrows and Enter to select an item.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely.

It seems synchronization between web forums and newsgroups is broken.
