Resharper Tool Window Docking

Yes, I too was happy to see my windows docked after the first restart only
to find them undocked or not even visible the next time. It all seems random
to me; sometimes docked, sometimes not open but if you open them either they
dock or not. Eventually it will all work, but in the meantime I'll wait.

Okay, I really want to know what the magic incantations are for making
this work.

It seems completely random. For the longest time, the tool windows
would not stay docked at all. I'd have to re-dock them every time I
started up Visual Studio. Then suddenly they stayed docked for a
while. This seemed to happen after a power outage cut power, so there
wasn't a clean shut-down. But somehow from that point it saved the
docked state! Only... they recently became undocked again. Worse,
they lost their sizing, and they poppped up as tiny little windows
(about an inch square).

I always have multiple copies of Visual Studio open. Always. Is this
the problem? Even though the same tool window is docked in the same
place in every instance?

Many users have reported problems with docking window positions. For me, I have used R# since its v1.0 EAP and docking windows have never remembered their positions (I also usually have multiple VS running).

I now have no expectations of this changing :(

We are several developers here and all have the same problem.
Usually the docking state of only one, sometimes two Resharper tool windows is not remembered after Visual Studio restart.
As another user posted, in very rare cases the state is remembered - but only for a short time.

In day to day work this is quite an anoying behaviour. JetBrains, please provide a fix for that.
