Can't use external file for code style

I can't seem to get the code style sharing to work.
I'm trying to do some open source work (castle) and they have defined a settings file.
I goto ReSharper -> Options -> Code Style Sharing
check Not shared, per solution, stored in a file:
I can type in the box but is greyed out.

Even if I type in the file path manually, when I look at the options they don't seem to have been applied and if I open a code file and reformat the code it does not reformat according to that file.

Thanks

This was broken in 3.1. Fixed in 3.1.1
