Ctrl+Click Alternative

I love the ability to go to an item's declaration with a shortcut, but taking over something as valuable as Ctrl+Click, which selects a word in the text editor, is really annoying. I'd really like to see an alternative like CtrlShiftClick or something similar. Perhaps there can be a drop-down with a few different choices.

Have you tried double-clicking on the word?

Ctrl+click is pretty standard in the java world, in IntelliJ (another wonderful
jetbrains product), Eclipse, and some PHP editors. It is a shortcut that
I really like, and I was surprised it wasn't there begin with, considering
IntelliJ does it.

Hello Andrew,

ReSharper has it, of course. The problem is that in VS it is used to select
whole words in drag-and-select, not just current word. So, it happens that
ReSharper blocks some VS functionality.

Yes, I know about double-clicking. I'm just used to Ctrl+Click and HIGHLY prefer it. As any R# fan, I'm big on productivity and it's much quicker to Ctrl+Click than double-click.
