warning list view

I believe this question was posed in the forum a few months back without an answer.

My company recently adopted Resharper 3.1 for a large, legacy codebase. The default analysis rules highlight dozens, if not hundreds, of warnings in the right gutter for many files. While I can enable solution-wide analysis for a list of errors, I cannot seem to find an option to provide a list of warnings for a specific file - I must simply mouseover each one to see its detail.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

My company recently adopted Resharper 3.1 for a large, legacy
codebase. The default analysis rules highlight dozens, if not
hundreds, of warnings in the right gutter for many files. While I can
enable solution-wide analysis for a list of errors, I cannot seem to
find an option to provide a list of warnings for a specific file - I
must simply mouseover each one to see its detail.

Solution-Wide Analysis would not currently maintain the list of warnings
in the solution. This functionality is planned for future versions. Currently,
the non-focused files are analysed mostly for errors, the full analysis is
not performed for them to avoid slowing the process down considerably.

R#4 has the new Code Cleanup feature. It handles most of the warnings automatically
and can be run on the whole solution. After that, the number of warnings
to review reduces considerably.
