VS2K8 sp1 and RS4 issues

I'm getting seriously annoyed with RS sense I installed v4 and I'm on the verge of uninstalling it and not recommending it to my clients.

What happened? V3 ran great. Now VS is slow as molases and it has now started to crash. (see request #76475 among others).

Is there a time frame (ie now!) for a service pack to get thing back on track?

oh - in the time to type this it crashed again #76476.

Please could you check the latest nightly build and report if this problem
is already fixed?

Just an interesting comment: My experience was the exact opposite of yours.
For our group, 2.x ran great, 3.x was slow and crashy and we never updated
to it, and 4.x is now running pretty reliably (though still way too slow
opening website projects).
