Can't set ReSharper Current Line Highlight

Hello,

I'm running: JetBrains ReSharper 5.1 Full Edition
Build 5.1.1751.8 on 2010-08-31T14:34:58

Licensed to: me
Plugins: 1
#1. “Gallio Test Runner” v3.2.0.0 by Gallio
Visual Studio 9.0.30729.1.

Copyright © 2003–2010 JetBrains s.r.o.. All rights reserved.

I have Highlight Current Line enabled but the ReSharper Current Line Highlight setting doesn't appear in Tools/Options/Font and Colors/Display Items for Visual Studio 2008 whereas it does in Visual Studio 2010.

Is this a known issue?  Is there a workaround?

Thanks,

Ray

Strange, I thought this was fixed in this version, it seems to work for me
in both VS2008 and VS2010. When it wasn't working in VS2008 previously the
'fix' was to select Tools->Options in VS and then just press 'OK' without
making any changes.

What I've read has had to do with the current line not highlighting.  Highlighting works, but I can't change the settings for it (e.g. foreground and background color) since the ReSharper Current Line Highlight item doesn't show up in the Fonts and Colors options for Visual Studio 2008 like it does in VS2010.  This is a problem because the default setting makes the text unreadable with a darker color scheme.

Try the "Resharper CurrentLine" item in the Fonts and Colors Options in
VS2008.

I would love to do that but ReSharper Current Line wasn't in the list for VS2008.  I did a "Repair" install and now it is back.  Don't know what that was all about but everything seems fine now.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Hello,

We got a problem with VS sometimes asking us for Fonts'n'Colors just on startup,
before we've loaded our data and know our colorable items list. If this happens,
R# items disappear from VS options. We're about to fix it in the next major
release.

I've had all the ReSharper "Fonts and Colors" settings disappear many times
before.  But sometimes, only the current line highlight setting
disappears, and all other ReSharper color settings remain.  I've only had
this issue in VS2008--never in VS2010.  It might be worth looking into to
make sure there isn't another subtle bug that's affecting just that
particular setting.

Cheers,
Mike
