How to get the File Structure of Resource (resx) files?

My File Structure keyboard shortcut is "Ctrl-Alt-F". For the life of me, I can't seem to get the File Structure for resx files.

Here's what I've tried.

  1. Highlight in Solution Explorer - keyboard or menu - opens file structure of unrelated file in text editor.
  2. Open resx designer - keydoard or menu - opens empty file structure window.
  3. Open resx .Designer.cs - keyboard or menu - opens CS file structure (not the Resource File Structure).

Any help is greatly appreciated.

-rb

Hello Richard,

Please open the .resx file with the xml text editor (right click the file,
choose 'Open With' and select 'XML (Text) Editor') and then open the File
Structure window. Let me know if this helps. Thank you!
