Upgrade from 5 to 6 - empty shopping cart - why?

I cannot upgrade my licensed copy of ReSharper 5 C# edition to ReSharper 6 C# edition.

I go through the process of selecting the upgrade at a cost of US$89, plug in my license key, and then am presented with a screen that tells me my shopping cart is empty with suggestions that include purchasing the older ReSharper 5 edition at full price.

At no point in the upgrade process am I told that my current license key is incomplete or invalid, so I assume it is valid like it always has been.

I've attempted the upgrade process using IE9 (with and without add-ons disabled), Firefox 5 and Safari 5 and none of them work.

I'm dead in the water and cannot use ReSharper at all.

Your upgrade process is broken.  Fix it.  Soon.

Hello fmorriso,

Could you please contact me through andrew dot serebryansky at jetbrains

number for instance)? Thank you!

I figured it out.

Instead of following the common sense, logical process of clicking the "Upgrade now" link, you instead need to click the illogical,  non-common sense "get quote" link.

Here's an idea.  Instead of the current confusing wording that shows two choices, neither of which is clear as to its purpose, how about putting a single, simple button/link called "Upgrade" on that screen?

I tried the Get Quote route and while that gets me through the only item shown is a commercial license when the license I am trying to upgrade is a personal license.

So I finally managed to upgrade via the Request Quote route. On Internet Explorer it would only offer me an upgrade to a Commercial version. On Google Chrome, it finally offered me the correct Personal license.

Website seems awfully sensitive to the browser being used and upgrade path is not clear at all.
