Hiding the "Marker Bar"
Is there a way to toggle, disable, or otherwise hide the Marker Bar (the Code Analysis indicator bar Resharper adds next to the vertical scrollbar of code windows)?
I'm a stickler for horizontal real-estate, and would like to disable this particular feature if I can. I have tried disabling Code Analysis in the Resharper options, but this does not affect the presence of the Marker Bar.

Is this feature (hide scroll) in your roadmap ?
Could I request then that an option be added to hide/eliminate the marker bar then? I had also been looking for a way to do this as I have no need of it and it just takes up screen real estate.
We do need ReSharper configuration option "Hide marker bar" because of:
1. We are developers - we work on code text (not on pictures).
2. We are all keyboard users, not mouse users.
So, marker bar is useless child toy, that occupies a screen space.
Hard words to call it useless child toys. It's your opinion however I like it very much because I can quickly see how "good" or "bad" my code is and it is really usefull to quickly jump to some specific locations in code.
It is hardly useless. It's extremely useful. I use it constantly. It
gives you an at-a-glance status of your file and where any issues are, at
the very least. And the screen space it occupies is minimal, especially in
these days of wide-screen monitors.
Perhaps if you actually took the time to get used to it and learn how to use
it, you might find it as useful as everyone else does.

Agreed, Visual Studio is the tool of our trade and tweaking the UI for additional real estate
when needed or preferred is an essential for any professional.
