using ReSharper with non-standard file extensions

Hallo Community,

I struggled into a (simple) problem and can't figure out how to solve it. Can't be that complicated...
In our projects we have some XML files, that do not have the extension ".xml". Resharper (6) ignores this files.
Is there a way, to tell ReSharper to handle a file "test.abc" the same way as an xml file? (enable code formatting, file header creation...) Hoped there is a way to register custom extensions but didn't find anything.

Can't believe I'm the first one with such a problem.

Kind regards,
Martin Schmidt

If that extension associated with Xml editor by default - ReSharper should treat such files as xml ones.

Hallo

Damn, this was too easy. So bad I didn't figure it out...

You're right, after the extension is assigned to XML Editor in VS and VS is restarted it works well.

Thanks a lot!!

Kind regards,
Martin Schmidt
