Deactivate 3.1 license
I have Resharper installed on a particular machine, with a valid license. I am no longer using this machine, and we would like to reuse the license elsewhere. How can I deactivate the license on this machine, so it can be used by someone else? Thanks.
(I do understand that the both machines could use the same license as long as they're not using it at the same time, but we'd still like to deactivate the old machine)

Hello,
To remove a R# license, delete the R# User Settings (an XML file that could
be found under %APPDATA% for a specific user). This applies to R#3 and below.

How do you propertly deactivate reshaper license for version 4.5 or above ?
Thanks
Hello,
Look for this data in the ReSharper Registry, under the HKCU hive.

I still think it should be an option so you can use your license in another machine temporarily
Hello,
If your license is associated with your JB account, then it should work automatically.
Same for the license server case. Just shut down the other machine.
If that's a manually entered license key, you can use it on another machine
if the first one is not running R# (limitations apply, whether it's a commercial
or personal license).
Anyways, in R#9+ you should be able to remove the license key from the license
dialog if you want to make it less temporary.

I didn't know that. My license is associated to my JB account.
Thanks :-)
