Namespace Provider not appearing in properties

I wish to exclude my "Area" folder from my namespace structure in an ASP.NET 5 application. I thhought I could do this by clicking on the Area folder and setting its namespace provider property to false. Regretably there are no properties at all showing up when I select the folder. Does anyone have any idea what is going wrong?

I am using;
Visual Studio 2015 14.0.24720.0
ReSharper ultimate 10.0.2

Hello Doug

  It is a bug in Visual Studio API for DNX projects - feel free to follow https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSRP-440861.

Thanks!

Thank you for the update. So from what I am getting this feature won't be available until Microsoft adds property extenders back.

Is there any word on when (or if) this will happen?

The ability to have better control over my namespaces is one of the specific things I wanted from ReSharper. This is pretty importiant to me.

My goal is to take some of the superfolous folders out of my namespace structure and simplify it. There is no reason for "Areas" to be showing up in every namespace for example.

Is there a way around this current bug? Some way to acomplish my goal other than just doing it all manually?

Thanks for the help.
