Spurious Jetbrains account login

Hi, I recently installed a Jetbrains update to my dotUltimate subscription, 2023.3.2 and now I'm being prompted to log in to my Jetbrains account every time I open Visual Studio.

It's really annoying.  Sometimes I see multiple login tabs appear in my web browser.  I wonder if this has anything to do with the recent release of the AI Assistant, which I don't use, but got installed with this latest update.  

I tried uninstalling AI Assistant, but I still see the spurious login tabs appear.  Any idea why this is happening ?  It only just started happening recently.

Could you please collect some logs for us?

1. select `(Extensions) | ReSharper | Navigate | Go to Action`;
2. type `logger /all`;
3. select the Licensing trace scenario (the screenshot is below) in the opened "Logger Configuration" window;
4. enter JetBrains.ReSharper.AI in the "Custom namespace tracing" field;
5. reproduce the issue;
6. provide the log file (its location is specified at the top of the Logger Configuration tool window), upload file to JB server (https://uploads.jetbrains.com/)
7. don't forget to disable trace scenarios.

Sorry, I didn't see this yesterday (corporate IT classified the email notification as spam).  It seems like I spend more and more time trying to work around some random IT policy these days …

Anyhow, as luck would have it, I no longer see these spurious logins.  I logged in to my Jetbrains account for the express purpose of making this post, and then went on about my day, completely forgetting about it.

Later, I saw one of these spurious logins occur, but since I was still logged in, I guess it satisfied whatever it was looking for.  I haven't seen a login attempt since then.  I've also rebooted a couple of times since then, for other reasons (it's been a very busy week so far).

Maybe the AI Assistant leaves some “stuff” around after it is uninstalled, which then hangs on until it gets a successful login attempt, and then exits ?  Just a theory, based on what little I've seen so far…

Otherwise I'm super pleased with Resharper and dotTrace, the two Jetbrains apps I use most, so this all was a little surprising to me.
