Unable to uninstall older version

Somehow I messed up the installation process. now when I try to uninstall older version, the dialog pops up and after clicking "UnInstall" it disappears and NOTHING happens. I tried Restart, TEMP folder cleanup etc. but no use.

Please help

Tried it. still it only uninstalled one of them. the other one still did not go and will not go. :(

@Dheeraj Looks like some of Visual Studio updates creates a new instance ID so old ReSharper was installed to previous VS instance ID. You might do the following things to remove old ReSharper installation manually

  • Open %LocalAppData%\JetBrains\Installations\ folder;
  • Remove all "ReSharperPlatformVs15_{instanceID}" subfolders;
  • Open "Programs and Features" applet from Control Panel (not from new Options UI);
  • Click uninstall for ReSharper Ultimate record;
  • Windows will notify you that there is no an uninstaller and suggest removing the record.
