VS 2015 title bar flashes "Not Responding" 2017.1.1 build

I have a serious problem that is specific to Resharper under Visual Studio 2015, after a while (2-3 hours) of coding and debugging, VS 2015 will suddenly slow down to a crawl and the Visual Studio Title bar will flash "not responding".  It's as if there is some other processing running that is causing VS 2015 to slow ... if I do nothing and leave VS 2015 (no typing and no mouse activity) the flash "not responding" continues until VS 2015 eventually crashes to desktop.

When I check my RAM usage and monitor CPU usage it all seems fine (plenty of free RAM and CPU is NOT pegged at 100%).

I've performed all the suggest diagnostics per Resharper FAQ and nothing has solved this problem.  The ONLY current solution has been to uninstall ReSharper and the problem goes away and never returns.  So whatever this issue is, it's directly related to ReSharper but I have no way of knowing what??

I'm running under Windows 10 x64 Enterprise, Visual Studio 2015 Update 3 (14.0.25431.01).

Any hints, is there some ReSharper specific logging I can enable to see why ReSharper is having a problem?
