Resharper freezes VS2017 Follow

It is fixed: After a vs2017 update this solution didn't freeze but Resharper displayed a warning message that an older version of vs2017 has been detected. Then after the latest Resharper update 2017.1.1 all is good again.

Microsoft fixed a deadlock during solution loading with ReSharper enabled in Visual Studio 2017 update 1 https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSRP-463688 (Race condition in components loading). And at the same time this update broke MSTest API, that's why you got that message https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSRP-464228. And indeed, we fixed that in ReSharper 2017.1.1 bugfix release https://blog.jetbrains.com/dotnet/2017/04/07/resharper-ultimate-2017-1-1-fixes-mstest-discovery-c-issues/.

If I open the sln with resharper enabled it hangs forever and I need to kill VS.

If I first suspend resharper then open the sln, everything is fine...

I am having this issue as well. June 26, 2019

Visual Studio hangs. (Not Responding) I have to use task manger to kill the process. It happens when resharper is enabled. Disabling resharper fixes the issue.

I tried clearing the cache but that didn't work either.
