Marker bar not showing after downgrade to 2016.2.2

After upgrading from Resharper 2016.2.2 to 2016.3.2 I experienced some annoying issues, so I decided to downgrade. Now my marker bar went missing.

The setting I'm using is 'show marker bar next to the vertical scroll bar' (I'm on VS 2012).

Any ideas? Maybe I should just uninstall then reinstall. I downgraded without uninstalling.

BTW, I downgraded back to 2016.2.2

Hello

Does it affect all files or only certain ones? If only certain ones, are these files quite big? There is the following request about analyzing big files https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/RSRP-462298 so you might experience the same behavior as well.
