ReSharper C++ Command Line Tools License Expired?

Hello,

I'm using the CLT Resharper C++ tools on a build server (https://www.jetbrains.com/resharper-cpp/download/#section=resharper-clt)

However, after a week or so of it running correctly I received this message.

[Step 2/3] JetBrains Inspect Code 2016.3.1
[Step 2/3] Running in 64-bit mode, .NET runtime 4.0.30319.42000 under Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1
[Step 2/3] Product ReSharper C++ cannot be started because it is expired.
[Step 2/3] Run Inspect Code installer to update the product.

Is there a way to disable this? I thought the CLT was free to use and didn't require a license?
How do I run the installer? the download is just a zip?

Sam.

Hello,

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Indeed, CLT do not require a license; it appears that R++ CLT were released with a so called 'time bomb' which we are deploying to all products in EAP state.

We will fix this issue in the upcoming 2016.3.2 bugfix update which is going to be released soon and update the R++ CLT package with a new version without any license checks.

Sorry once again and thank you for the report!

We are seeing the same problem with builds from 2021. Suggestions?

Here is the output:

▶ C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\bin\cleanupcode.exe -h
JetBrains Cleanup Code 2021.1 EAP 5
Running on AMD 64 in 64-bit mode, .NET runtime 4.0.30319.42000 under Microsoft Windows NT 6.2.9200.0
Product ReSharper C++ 2021.1 EAP 5 cannot be started because it is expired.
Run Cleanup Code installer to update the product.

@... You're using a pre-release build which expires after a month. Download the 2021.1 CLT from https://www.jetbrains.com/resharper/download/#section=commandline.
